Default Driving gloves :)

Hi friends,

It may be a little off but I need your help

I am looking for the perfect driving gloves for when I take the 67 for a ride. I don't want something racing oriented (it is not a race car), I just need something that looks nice (ideally grey / tan in leather or suede) and that take me bad to the good old gentlemen drivers day.

Any idea? website? brand name?

I really know nothing about gloves

Thanks!

If you're going to wear the gloves, go ahead and get the sports car hat and racing goggles. That is if you're really serious.

I had to find a pair of gloves for cold weather for my car. I have m/s, so grip was very important to me. This meant the gloves had to fit properly and not slip on the vinyl steering wheel. I couldn't find any leather gloves that fit my hands properly without being too loose in the wrong places, and many gloves didn't have enough grip and would simply slip around the steering wheel.

I finally found a pair of gloves at a law enforcement clothing and supply store. They're actually cold-weather shooting gloves, not driving gloves. They have a nomex back and synthetic leather palms with light grip tabs on all but the forefinger and thumb. They fit my hands perfectly, have excellent grip on the wheel while still allowing the wheel to slip by if I loosen my grip, and they keep my hands semi-warm in cold weather. They're too warm for use outside of cold weather, but they serve their purpose well.

Oh, and they work great as shooting gloves

ugh, I should probably get some driving gloves to, I can't remember how many times I've cut myself on my steering wheel by my hands slipping off.

That's the route I went with... popped down to the Harley Davidson store and bought a set of thin gloves with gel padding in the palms, nice fit and they feel good. And they match my old Harley jacket and black leather boots my dad gave me.
