I guess I'm the black sheep of the bunch. Out of all the early pony cars the mustang is low on my list. For me the 70-74 cuda/challenger and 67-69 camaro/firebird would come before the mustang. Don't get me wrong I love the mustangs too but their not my favorite. One of these days my garage will be stocked with a 70 cuda, 69 camaro, and a 69 fastback but until then I'll just live with my 68 coupe. I don't really like any of the camaros or mustangs from the 70's, on up until the current generations.

Gremlin, Pinto and Pacer...talk about classic styling and American muscle - they had it all.
Can't leave Chevy out altogether though...they did have the Vega. Something magical about a block which only lasts 800 (yes, eight hundred) miles on a car which starts to show rust in the showroom.

Im more of a Trans Am/ Formula kind of guy, but my favorite cars are GTOs and a 41 ****** coupe. I will own a 41 ****** someday, and it would be killer if it had a blown injected HEMI on alky.. Just finished shooting the color on one of the TA's I have yesterday.. Need to color sand and reshoot a little bit if I cut through the paint.
Trans AM/Formula birds are vastly better than a crapmaro, and it depends on the Mustang really. 428CJ would be nice to have in either a Mustang or a Cougar. Maybe a SOHC 427... mmmm..
