anyone ever had issues wih CJ pony and not getting the part?

i need to call them tomorrow morning and see what the deal is. i bought a part and a book from them on 6/17.

i got billed for the part right away as though they shipped it and just got billed on 6/25 for the book as if it was backordered and shipped seperate.

if they shipped the part on 6/17 i should have had it 6/20 or 6/22 becuase ive bought stuff before on a wed. and had it that sat.

if all else fails they were purchased on my CC so i can always dispute it but id rather just have the part lol

Yeah I would call them, it may have been backordered or something. I just ordered some parts from them last saturday (20th) and they should be here by this Tuesday. I blame FedEx for this one.

After it shipped I got a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.

Really wish their site had an order status feature.

yea i agree on the order status part, even if they showed it as currently backordered and an estimated arrival like a lot of sites do.

hopefully it was just backordered but idk why they would have been billed on 2 different transactions.

oh well ill find out tomorrow.

Oh by the way, don't forget that they have a forum where you can ask them and other people questions

They do it all the time and that's why i won't use them anymore , always a headache when i place orders with several items , some arrive and others are back ordered and then if you are busy with a lot of stuff , you forget about the parts that are back ordered or something.Better go with mustangs unlimited or NPD , they ship everything with military style precision.

yea i never had an issue with CJ until the the last 2 orders. granted the first one i didnt car cuz it was just a selector shaft seal.

this time it was the shift linkage becuase i noticed it was broken and had been welded previously plus a book.

im going to call them here in a couple minutes and see what the deal is. hopefully i get answers instead of the run around

I recently ordered a Monte Carlo bar and the related mounting hard ware from them.

They shipped the bar and back ordered the hardware...um, perhaps I am stupid or something but what exactly am I supposed to do with the part when I don't have the hardware to mount it?

I have often had problems with back order issues with CJ, much more so than with other vendors.

I ordered from them once last year and didn't have a single problem, got all my parts except the two backordered ones in like 5 days (all the way to california), then the two back order parts came shortly after that. Maybe their system has gotten sloppy?

ugh, just got my exhaust manifold and water pump and found out my manifold gasket and breather cap are back ordered. No idea when those will be coming.
