Default Honest Ebay sellers

I looked and didnt see this anywhere but if its been done please let me know.
I think it would be good if everyone would list sellers on Ebay that you have had good experience with for Mustang parts. I am a new owner and have been hesitant to buy parts on Ebay cause Im not sure who has quality products and is trustworthy. I think it would be very helpful to everyone on the forum. Thanks

I have bought a lot of crap off eBay, and only been disappointed a few times.

A person does need to be careful about what he buys and who he buys from though.

BUT, we bought very little for the Mustang on eBay because there are tons of parts available from several Mustang parts businesses.

Frankly, a person could just about build a new Mustang from a few catalogs, as far as my 55 Lincoln and my 39 Ford, not so much...

If you are talking about Mustang parts dealers/vendor, You will really have to search for a good deal. The prices on eBay may be $5-$10 cheaper than their catalog prices. But they make up for it in the shipping and handling charges. I can understand this it costs them so much more to sell through eBay/paypal compared to their catalogs. They are forced to, just to break even or a little bit ahead. Not worth the auction "hassle" in my opinion.
When I want to buy new replacement parts, I go straight for the catalogs. The price with shipping usually ends up lower than the same vendor on eBay. It's cheaper in the long run.
Some catalog dealers go to the car shows or Mustang events. You can get their items even cheaper with "show specials" and not have to worry about shipping fees at all. Most Mustang vendors bring just about everything from their catalogs (and I have had a few that will ship it free if they don't have it at the shows..)
If you are talking about used items... there are some dealers that deal in original/used parts, some GREAT prices on some(usually not Mustang only parts). But most are people selling parts from their parted-out cars or pieces they don't need. So they would be one time transactions and wouldn't help you out. (eBay feedback would be the most help here)
You can do a message search to find catalog dealers that everyone on this forum would recommend.. some will be on eBay.

I know Mustangs Unlimited, Lauren Mountain Mustang, and Summit sell on Ebay. They are usually cheaper on there too than they would be on their site.

A lot of parts only one or two companies remake it.So shop around and a lot of places have free shipping if you spend over so much.

ebay is nice because you can read feedback on a store

Ive only boughten from HiPoParts on ebay and would have to recommend you stay away if you plan on returning a broken item since he wont be willing to give you an exchange just 15% off your next purchase.
