Default Will this combo work with stock suspension without rubbing?

1965 mustang coupe: I am going to get 17x8 wheels with 4.75'' backspacing, and 235/45/17 tires, will this combination rub with all stock suspension, front fender lip is rolled flat. Thanks.

You might be close in the front due to tire diameter, but it will probably clear okay. I had some 06 GT takeoffs with 235/50 17s and they rubbed at the front of the fender when I turned. I am running 225/45s and they work great.

You might have trouble with clearing the upper A-arm with a wheel that wide. Others will have to help with that.

I'm running 225/50/16 with I believe your same offset. The tires just clear after adjusting the fender and rolling the lip.

Your set up would have .47 greater diameter and I know this would be an issue on my car. However, you can see how much mine is lowered. Just a note: I am running 55's in the back.
