Hi, I can tell you that MAC makes a header to fit '65-'70 that will fit PS cars w/o using a drop bracket and will clear the C4, also they don't hang down any lower than the trans/frame. They pretty much are centered with the trans pan lip being at the middle of the collector height wise. They were the only affordable headers I could find that didn't need a drop bracket for PS.
