Mustang is sold

Hey guys, thanks for the responses. It is funny you mention the Cobra. The car prior to this project was a FFR cobra. It was a rare (25 made) carbon fiber body car, with a 1993 Mustang Cobra as the donor. I had it for 9 years and was a really cool car, but I wanted a project....and someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Next project....not sure. I have blue blood, so I'd like to stick to Fords and I was thinking of going older and doing a rat rod kinda thing, but a nice car with painted rust or faded graphics (Shelby American Automobile delivery truck?)
If you really want to know what I sold the car for, send me a PM.

There was a Superformance Daytona Coupe at the Austin Mustang Show a couple of weeks ago. It's a beautiful machine, but I am really turned off by the rear end appearance. It's like they ran out of time and slapped a piece of flat metal with some cheap tail lights up there. Imagine if it had been sculpted like a 63 Jaguar... mmmm
Cobras are a timeless design, and you can build them uniquely to suit your taste.

tx65,
I actually went and saw/drove a 1949 pickup for sale. It had a 289/C4. Pretty rough but it drove. I could see how this body style could look cool, but I have to agree with you that the mid 50's that you posted above appeals to me more.
