I6 200CI

Although its only a six, I would keep it in and they do sell hi performance parts for those sixers. I had one before, just bought a cheap rebuilt engine the car was not fast BUT I could cruise up through mountains like nothing. I think those straight six are good for torque in a 6cyl. They also sell intakes for six pack carb setup etc. You really can make it a nice engine. I would keep it original. Plus its soo simple and theres soo much room in that engine bay. not really looking to go fast. just want to have it a little throaty sound yet have the ***** for a "little" go. I do want to be different and not have another V8 mustang. Keep the comments coming.
Thank you,

...****, who the hell am I talkin to, I'm going to a V8 as well, I better shut my mouth... haha!
For one it will handle and cruise better if you leave it with the I6.

Definitely definitely definitely keep the I6. There's plenty of ways to give it some boost.

And you can literally give it some boost, they can hold up to 10 psi stock.

I totally hear ya, as soon as I saw my I6 was going to be a full overhaul, I knew it wasn't going to be worth it for me. I guess most of us get power hungry over time, specifically HORSE-power hungry!
