It's been a while!... New Project
Hey, it's been a while... what two or three years since I sold my 68?
WELL I'M BACK! And I have a new project. It as well is a Coupe, but It's older then a 68, It's a 65. With supposed running Numbers matching 289 and Auto Tranny.
it is definatly a project car. The Floor is rotted out, and a few pieces need to be replaced, front windshield is cracked. LOTS of work... Electrical needs to be redone... BUT I only picked it up for $800 title in hand; They just wanted to get rid of it. Lots of fun.
I'll let you know if it is actually numbers matching. And if I decide to keep the motor in the car or not throw something else in there. Though I was thinking Keeping the torquey 289 and eventually throwing a supercharger on it.
Ciao!

A Sleeper might be fun. And Yea 800 is a definite steal!. The Engine DOES run, though it needs gaskets replaced (no surprise). I keep getting the throw a 302, 351, 428 So forth in it. Body is in decent condition(except the big holes in the rear seat area an the few rot through holes), definitely a good starting point. I have my options open.
And Yes I'm sorry I didn't ask. I'm open to suggestions and ideas as it will be a while before I start the build. Right now it's the "repair" stage.
Thanks.
