Been a while since an update. Had my Crohn's flare HARD, so I was in the hospital for 5 days, sucked. Anyway, I got the rear package tray and roof insulated, my headliner has arrived and is awaiting install, hopefully tomorrow. My carburetor acting up, so I pulled it off to rebuild, found a TON of trash in it from the tank, so I bit the bullet and got a brand new gas tank with sending unit. At least my gas gauge works now.

I am shooting to get the headliner installed tomorrow and hopefully the back glass as well. Then I just have to get the A/C working and she will be daily driver worthy.

Check your hard fuel lines as well...
A new tank is always a good idea since they're not really expensive, even the 22gal one.

I just got the headliner installed and the back glass installed tonight.

I can't say that I am happy about the headliner, but I can't say that I am mad about it either. First time installing a liner with bows and the cheapest liner I could find makes for an OK result. The pics suck and you can see my silver insulation shining through, but that is just a camera trick. Gotta order a new package tray and new sail panels.

Are you gonna keep that green interior?
I went 95 Mustang on mine. Got everything for free (bought the car $1500 for power plant) and used my coconut for making everything fit nicely.

Slowly converting it to black. I will likely get the seats recovered since they are really freaking comfortable.

Looks like you did an excellent job on the headliner. I once saw a black 68 Cougar with the white and black leather interior and thought it was one of the classiest cars I ever saw. Of course it was in 1970 and I was a teen pump jockey lol.
