I am looking at a 641/2 mustang 289/271 high perf convertible 411 rear stock excellent condition no rust 65,000 miles complete restoration red on red white top looks new does 25k sound like a fair price?

Welcome to the classic section. 25k sounds a bit high. Pictures talk though. We all love pictures in the classics section.

20k is about what most good convertibles sell for lately,We need pictures to really to know what its worth.

if its truly a "K" code car and its restored and rust free then 25k is way low... www.mustangdecoder.com to decode the vin number and door plate(if its present and matches the vin)

If it's a true "K" code convertible and only 25k ****** it up quick but only after you verify the car. Google "K" code mustang and you'll get a rundown on what to look for. Let us know what you find out about the car your looking at. I'm guessing it's not a true K but ya never know.
