Default Alternator Question

I need help wiring the alternator in my 66 with a newer style alternator on the 90 5.0 that has been transplanted. I am not very familiar with the wiring so any help is appreciated!

Randy,
Assuming it is a stock 90 alternator (2G Style), here is a schematic on how to build a harness. It is a self exciting alternator, meaning it doesnt hook up to your voltage regulator.

you can get the connectors here

Thanks James, I will look into this. I'm SO close to being done with the restoration that it is driving me crazy. Few more days and we can at least let her breath a little fire. Thanks Again

you can also buy the connectors at a good auto parts store.
