There is a piece for the 65 console for automatic shifter. I don't know if it will fit with the stick one.

I know about the automatic shift part that goes on it. I was wondering if that part works with a non console automatic shifter. Does it slip down over the existing shifter or is there a different shifter for a console model. I am assuming that it would work with any auto shifter but, wanted to make sure.

Hey, that Royal Maroon fastback on the right is just like mine, color and A code except mine is an auto. Nice cars Dude.

I honestly don't know. I always thought it was the same shifter with or without the console, but I am not sure. If you do not get an answer here, I would a parts supplier. They should be able to help you.

Thank you for the kind words. They are actually my Grandpa's cars. We show them (usually only one, but we use both) almost every Sunday from May through October.

Thanks for the replys. I thought it would be the same shifter, just checking. I appreciate your input.
