Default Need help valuing a car - 1970 Mach 1

I am completely new to the vintage mustang world. I am an old fox body street and stripper thats been out of the game for about 10 years. Im looking at a 1970 Mustang Mach 1. I have no idea what the value is on this car. It has some rust here and there and the paint is not great. I need an idea of what this car would sell for on average.

Original color I'm told as well as an all matching numbers car.
Car has factory ac, power steering and disc brakes.
351C M code / 4v heads

list of upgrades
Tremec 5 speed (still has original fmx and comes with the car)
wheels and tires
new carpet
ignition upgrade from points
aluminum intake and carb (still has factory intake but not carb)

A car is only worth what someone will pay for it.

What is seller asking for it?

She's nicely optioned but she's a rusty ol' gal.

Don't cash in your 401k on it but if you can get if for a decent price then it ought to be a hoot.

I wouldnt go more than 6-8k for that car if it runs and drives. I know that being a mach 1, it can be pricey. All of the fastback cars now days are costing an arm and a leg. But this one needs a lot of work.

The way the door panel is, means a new cowl. It might as well not have a fast back body because you will need to replace most of it. I am sure the floors are gone as well as the torque boxes. What you are buying is a serial number and probably $25-30 K to bring it up to a $40k car assuming that serial number do match and all the original parts are there. If you want to spend either a lot of money or a lot of time or both try for $4k and top out at $6k.
