Mystery tag on '66 GT coupe

Mystery tag on '66 GT coupe
Greetings all,
My '66 GT Coupe has a brass tag screwed to the underside of the hood, drivers side. The tag is scalloped, with 182L050 stamped along one edge and AV4271 along the other edge.
Any ideas what this might be?
