Default Gas cap gasket

The better half and I went to the big city a few days ago, and noticed a smell of gas inside the 65 after we filled up. I researched the gaskets for the filler cap, and decided I could make my own with a sheet of gasket material I have. Walahhhhh, no more gas smell inside the car.

I thought that was just part of the Mustang allure.

On my old cap (twist, not flip-down) I used two rubber gaskets that are for an inground pool inlet. They were the perfect diameter and a little super glue held them in perfect.
