Loosen the freaking thing up with the engine off fool! Time the motor, shut it down , retighten the distributor and then recheck it. It ain't freaking rocket science!
Certainly not a way to encourage him is it ? I am sure he has alot of knowledge about a particular subject which you don't. How would you feel if he said the same thing to you ?

I really dont care what anyone says. As long as it helps me in the long run. I still have bunches to learn. when i am in my 30s i will alot too.

Yeah, Tyler is a smart and motivated kid who wants to make his vintage Mustang right. Let's not demean anyone who wants to get some information about how to do that. Regarding the special tool, they are cheap at any parts store. Making do with a wrench that is not right for the job we have all been through, but using the right tool for the job I think we can all agree is the right way to go.

Dooh! Guess I deserved that! As long you got the stang bug I guess I shouldn't be ragging on you. I know you are trying. I guess I make assumptions that some of this stuff that comes easy to me should be easy for everyone else. I'm here to help I swear!

i use a regular wrench and Im fine with it. I only slipped once and hit the fan while it was moving, it didn't do anythign, just hurt alot
