Default Full trunk scrub down...

I was thinking about taking a wirebrush on an airgun to my entire trunk and then repainting it. I already have the tank out and everything removed that was in there and have a new tank on the way. The "paint" thats in there now is like an extremely rough ultra flat black. Anyidea what that is. I just bought acouple cans of semiflat and figured that would be good. Also, I have rear end damage and I thought it would be good to get that area scrubbed and repainted to stop the cancer spread in it already. Any thoughts or anything??

Dont know what it is. Bracket? Normal condition behind taillight area on passenger...

Driver side Its all crumpled and if you look at the frame on the underside, it got squished and theres a tear. I got a new section to be welded in later.

Yea, I dont have a creeper so I use a sled

Use POR-15 to paint the trunk. Good stuff! Here's a link to their site. The folk's at the Auto crafts shop turned me onto it. Make sure to wear gloves when you use it. If you get it on your skin it won't come off until you grow new skin, nothing takes it off.

Been using this stuff for MANY years.. Great product!!! I would not use anything else, I used it to detail everything under the hood. They have great engine paint too...
