Plan on converting vinyl top of my 68 to a HT - just wanted to hear peoples thoughts and previous experiences - I have done a lot of research on it and I know its gonna be a scary thought once the top is removed - any additional info or advice would be greatly appreciated.

If i were you i would try to swap the car for a hardtop cuz thats alot of money and like you said would be scary.

 

what do you mean by alot of money - i will be doing all the work myself - only thought that scares me is the amount of rust to be removed

 

Oh well yoou didnt say that. It will still be hundreds of dollars. I dont thin yull have any rust problems.
