Who here has gotten a paint job on their classic and how much did you pay?

I would go to maco they have a superior paint job for 250 bucks

i personally woudnt go with maaco, cheap job and they charge you up the *** for minor details, like $50 for just doin the part of the door with the latch, and the 250 doesnt cover any dents the might have to fix either. i got appraised like $800 at maaco for their middle job. I ended up going with this one guy who charged me $3500 ( a lot i know, but it was worth it). i got EVERYTHING painted for that, engine compartment, everything. All the body parts were taken off and painted individually too, as well as the inside of the sheet metal that doesnt get seen. It did take a good while but im very happy for it, and should be for $3500. I think it was 3 or 4 coats of paint, and then like 3 coats of clear coat. i recommend if you can do without the car for a month or 2
