Yep, 65's have black grills.

The 65’s only looked gray because the crappy black paint fades. But 65’s are black also.

You got me to thinking about the factory color of the grille, and after a bunch of research, you are right. The grille on the 65 should be warm gray, and the 67 should be dark argent. They look like the same color to the naked eye in pictues, and they even appear to be black from a distance, but they are not black as such. Good eye!
Argent usually refers to a silver grey color. These are definitely not silver grey. They are more like gray/black. I guess that is why there is some confusion about them being dark grey or black. Hey, does it really matter.? The wind going through the grille doesn't care what color it is.
