Hi! I have a 1972 convertible with a 302 and a Daggenham 3Spd in it. I would like to swap in a Toploader 4Spd. Can anyone tell me if this is a straight swap? What year 4spds can be used and is there any major difficulties. I anxiously await a reply. Thanks. crzynickratkllr@msn.com

you should be able to use any 4spds from around that year. you might need a differnt drive shaft.

 

and your sure you wouldnt wanna step up to a T5?
