Default Hola

I have been lurking for a while and thought I would finally say Hi! My name is Jason.... I just recently sold my Factory Five Mark III roadster for a 1965 Fastback. So far the mods are Heidts mustang II front end, Ford Racing Z headed crate motor, T56 6spd, currie 9" with 4:11." I originally sold a 65 Fastback for the Mark III and now I am back. My plans are to either keep the current motor or go back to a 408-420 windsor with either Novi 2000 or turbo setup. I am currently up in the air which way I want to go. I have about 90% of the body work done and hopefully will be painted in the next couple of months. The color will be 2004 Dodge atlantic blue with either white or silver stripes. The original owner painted the engine compartment orange as well as the dash and roll bar. I felt like welding the doors shut and painting 01 on the side. lol I will post some pics tomorrow.

Well Tylerdru, it all started like any normal Man. I wanted something wicked fast and just looked sick. The day I got the cobra I was in love and had a great time building it. Then about a month ago I went to a car show and grew up a little more that day. I realized everyone at the show had their kids with them, in there 4 seat cars. It really bothered me that I could never take my wife and daughter at the same time. So for once in my life I made a decission that I needed to do. See When I bought the cobra I also bought a 66 conv to restore for the famliy. The problem was that I just didn't have the time to do both. so I consolidated. I can always get another cobra when I get the time and extra money. And some day I will..... At my shop I can drive a cobra every couple of weeks so that helps out a little
