Default Replacing head gaskets...

I am going to have to replace my head gasket[:@]. It is showing some oil leakage and I have a couple questions before I go into it...

1. What else will I need other than the Intake, Exhaust, Valve Cover, and Head Gaskets?
2. Can I remove the head from the block while the engine is still in the car, or should I just pull it?

Thanks for all the help guys...

that is all the gaskets you will need. Of course it would be easier to do it with the motor out, if it was already out. You can do it while the motor is still in the car. It's not that hard just make sure you clean all of your surfaces real good and torque everything to speck.

Head gaskets will generally not leak oil. If that is why you are doing head gaskets I would look a little closer to make sure you really need them.

If you are going to do head gaskets get a valve job at the same time.

do your self a favor get good gaskets felpro are the best, i have had trouble some times of geting the intake to seal up in the frount and back of the engine so i dont use a gasket there i use a good bead of grey rtv on those ends i know from experance that that is the best way to not have an oil leak there
