Default Won't Stay Running

Out for a spin tonight and all of a sudden engined died out. Was able to get back started but had to keep gas on the pedal to keep running - as soon as I let off engine would stall then die. When running with gas on runs fine. But can'teep running if I keep gas to pedal. Any suggestions on where I should start to figure out what is going on. Up unitl now no problems running or starting. Only have had a few weeks. Appreciate any suggestions. thanks

First try checking just the linkage. See if something may have happened to it and not opening it enough for idle.

Looked at linkage seems fine. Just started up a gain - started ran for a while at idle - then died - again could keep running if pumping gas to it - soon as I take pedal off it died.

check the fuel psi your pump might be going bad and by keeping i reved up it is getting some fuel to keep it running i am not shure what the psi should be but i bet it would be at least 5 to 10 psi
