brake drum problems

Default brake drum problems

can anyone tell me how to seperate the hub from a brake drum? thanks, wendell.

You need to loosen the shoes. There is a slot that you can either use a special tool, or a screw driver to loosen the adjustment wheel. It is an oval hole that may or may not have a cover over it. Once you get the shoes loosened, tap the drum gently with a hammer, then wiggle it until it comes off.

If the drum and hub are off the car just punch the studs through.
