bellhousings

Default bellhousings

hi i was wondering if my bellhousing from a 73 torino c4 will work with a four speed or what trannys will it work with the motor is a 302 by the way.

An auto bell housing won't fit a stick. You need the hole for the clutch fork. ANy bellhousing from a sbf stick should work. I think the v8's have a butterfly bolt pattern to the tranny and 6's have a square pattern but not positive.

289 302 351w&c Bellhousings are the same,FE motors have their own 351m 400 429 460 have their own too. As stated above they must be from a manual.
