I don't know if this is the right forum for this or not, but here goes. My father owned a 1969 Mach 1 428 SCJ 4sp. He bought it new and sold it in 1977. He has the windown sticker for it still but something was spilled on it so you cannot read the VIN. He doesn't remember the name of the person who bought other than the town the guy lived in. Is there anyway to look up what cars were shipped to a general area or am I just SOL on this one? Thanks for any help!

 

the DSO will tell you where the nearest sales office was.

 

I know he ordered the car from a dealership in Akron, Indiana that is no longer around. I guess when I get back up to his house I can have him pull out the sticker for me to look at.
