Oh man I cant believe you said that...

71 fastback
351C 2V
FMX
3.50 gears in the 9"
Basket case most people would have crushed after parting out.

Once its all done I will post up everything I have done and put in it. Right now its too much to list on here. Right now its about two days from sandblasting, the engine is ready to go back together, just waiting on rod and main bearings. The crank didnt clean up at .010/.010 so need new bearings.

Do you want a FMX rebuild guide? I could document it when we do it.. If the better half will take the pics for me

If I cant sell it for a profit, it will become a toy of mine and get either the 4V 4 bolt Cleveland or a healthy CJ headed 460... Always liked the big ones cuz the big engines fit so well in them. Either way its goin restomod... I finnaly decided. Still have no clue as to what color.

I have a 72 convertible.
It is a work in progress.
351C 2v
FMX
Power Windows (rare)

Just had the engine rebuilt, FMX, and changed the quarters.
I have to change the front aprons when I get some more cash.
Hope to be on the road soon.
It's true they (71-73) are big boats.

I have a 72 Grande Coupe.

351C-v2
FMX
Edelbrock performer intake
Edelbrock 600 Cfm Carb
Crane Fireball ignition
MSD pro billet dizzy
9in with open 4:10s(?)
Dual Flowmasters

Planned upgrades
Rebuilt heads going on soon
New Cam
Headers
changing to 3:50 gears
New Tires (tomorrow)

Other than these mechanical upgrades the rest is cosmetic, it neews some body work, but it looks decent for driving and even going to shows as a work in progress.

Got to love the big stangs!

Possibly going to go with a big block in the future.

73 Mach 1 , Q code ( 351 CJ ) , 4 speed , 3.50 trac-loc. I don't like boats either, but I love my Mustang. She may be the Clydesdale of our Mustang breed but size doesn't seem to effect her much. It's also kind of nice to have something a little different than the sea of 64-66 coupes.
Oh yeah, and it's red too ! Not a color change, she was born that way. I though about changing it to spring yellow though ... NOT !!!!!!!!!! JMHO, Dean

I was just ragging on you guys. Although I prefer the 65-66 models, I certainly wouldn't turn down a 70's model. They're all classics.
