I need transmission Help!!
Well, I have a resto mod and I want the engine and tranny to be Ford Blue... You can see the tranny from the engine bay and with it all one color, it looks much cleaner... I have a good eye for stuff like that.

That's purdy....but I would have left it natural.

You're right, too each his own. I was not trying to put down you're thoughts, it's just I have an eye for what is "Bling Bling" and whats not... I have a few trophy's that support my birds eye view

To each their own. I have a good eye for that sort of stuff too, but I must be using a different eye.

Hey Thumpin, I found the neutral safety switch, got it from RockAuto for $33...

You have to get a bracket to mount the TV. Early 80s Fairmonts and other non injected engines will have the bracket you need. Some aftermarket universal type brackets can be made to work, but you have to get the right amount of cable pull from the throttle lever, so bracket placement is important. You wont have anything you can use on a stock pre 78 Ford.
As for the neutral safety switch, you will most likely have to use an aftermarket type since the stock one for your car was on the trans. What shifter do you plan on using? You could mount one on the shifter so it has to be in Park to start, thats the way I wired up the one in my race car

Perhaps I could get a little bit of help. I put an AOD into a 66 stang and the wiring harness is a little bit different(a lot actually). I wanted to know which wires from the AOD harness connect to which ones on the harness for the safety switch, i can buy a harness but i really dont want to spend much more money. I am trying to cut and connect the two harness so it is a straight shot (no clips from the car to the tranny.
