HELP!!
You have to get a bracket to mount the TV. Early 80s Fairmonts and other non injected engines will have the bracket you need. Some aftermarket universal type brackets can be made to work, but you have to get the right amount of cable pull from the throttle lever, so bracket placement is important. You wont have anything you can use on a stock pre 78 Ford.
As for the neutral safety switch, you will most likely have to use an aftermarket type since the stock one for your car was on the trans. What shifter do you plan on using? You could mount one on the shifter so it has to be in Park to start, thats the way I wired up the one in my race car

I have a Lokar TV cable for the AOD, the thing I don't see is were on the tranny the other end of the cable connects. I know on my C4 there is a rod in the center of the shift lever for the kick down. I don't see anything like that on the AOD. As to the safety switch, do you know were I can get an after market?

Can you post a pic of the trans? The TV cable should be on the passenger side by the dipstick tube. If there isnt one there then you have an AODE or some other transmission. The AODE is electronically controlled for shifts, line pressure, etc. so it doesnt have a TV cable.

That's so you can put a television in the dash.
No, it's the throttle valve mechanism. Maybe this info will help.http://www.fourthgearinc.com/Technical_Info.htm

Thanks guys, I found the place for the TV cable. It's in the same place as the C4 only, a big washer was covering the shaft and I did not notice it. So, I just spent some time and gave it a coat of POR-15 Ford blue and here is it all painted waiting to go in!!
