ok, my engine is a fairly new 302 and it runs great except i replaced the battery tray and had to disconnect the battery and its not even turning over now that ive replaced the tray....i just disconnected it and reconnected it and it dosent work now....

i fiddled with the turn signal cam thing too but that should effect starting should it??? anyways........


the thing about it is, the battery is definitely working because the lights turn on and the defrost/heater works too so i dont know what to think???? it just wont crank...the guages work and i have gas and everything......

any ideas?

 

nevermind, one of the wires on the solenoid came loose...i gotta get those things reclamped or something....

 

Check your positive connection from the battery to the starter relay (solenoid) Also clean your battery posts and tighten the cables.
