Default Found a different mustang I think

Although that other vehicle I had shown everyone pics of is nice...

My brother called me tonight. He said that his buddy knows of a guy who has a mustang for sale and he gave me a number.

I call and talk to an old man. This mustang is original color (vintage burgundy) .. original interior (he said beige, but I'm assuming parchment)... original engine (rebuilt around 1000 miles ago), original trans (rebuilt with engine)... sounds like original everything.. it's got 140226 miles on it. All gauges and lights work.

The vehicle was garaged for 20 years... and hasn't been driven daily in quite a while... years.... the guy said he does go start it every few weeks and rolls it back and forth, but it hasn't had tags on it in quite awhile.

VIN: 6R07A176218
Tag: 65A X (all he could read as it was getting dark out)

The old man is the his wife's second husband. Well apparently the 1st husband who passed away was the original purchaser for the wife. So... esentially it's original owner.

Had a fender bender when the owners daughter slid off the road a few years back and they had to replace the left front fender.. but had it all done professionally.

This may be more my style than the '66 that has been mod'ed. I'm going to take a look at it tomorrow and I'll take a pile of pics and post them...

What do you guys think?

I kind of think if I could get something all original in good shape... the value would hold a bit better no? Der... obviously plainsmen.

But... I think I would enjoy it better than just picking out parts in a book to add....

Oh... and my brother's friend says that he's pretty sure they'd take like 6k if offered...

Oh yeah... and he said the vehicle is clean... no rust.

"A" code 4 barrel is always a good selection. That should be a dandy little investment for 6k.

I'm a little excited... *hops around like a little kid* I hope it's not a rust bucket.

well, u might want to change SOME stuff on it.....like get rid of the hubs and get some real rims......that can really change your cars vibe from granny grocery car to classic muscle car.

Check out Slickman's car. It looks a gazillion times better with just the rims!!! granted he has other stuff done, but it was totally transformed.

my car is the same way, i might take pics since i have my new wheels on now.
