rubber or asphalt / polymer insulation???

rubber or asphalt / polymer insulation???

Which works better to reduce road noise? They seem to be priced about the same.

I know that i have the factory asphalt paper in mine now.......but has anyone tried the rubber or does everyone stick with the original stuff.

Can't say. When I replaced mine, I used the paper backed stuff. So, I have no experience with the rubber stuff.
