THIS SUCKS
The only maching I know of that may need to be done is the outer hub area. This is the DIA that goes inside the rotor.. Thats all I know of.. I thought the granada was a total bolt on.. Plus, I thing tylerdru got a complete kit and it was not the granada swap.
tylerdru??

this a common problem with the granada conversion isnt it u have to machine down the hub?

This is a well-documented issue. Hub hole must be 2.44 for the Grenada rotor to fit.

IT is a granada swap, I was also aware of the wheel issue I just thought that it was ONLY the 14" wheels. I will just buy new rims soon or junkers from a yard. I know for a fact that the kit i got was a granada kit.
This was taken from dennis' guide.
Q. Can I use my original wheels with the swap?
A. In general, original 14†stamped steels wheels prior to 1969 will not fit onto the
rotor hub of the swap. The bearing boss, or snout of the Granada type rotor has
a larger diameter than the hub hole on the early wheels. The disc brake caliper
also tends to interfere with the inner surface of the wheels. Some people advise
that you can grind down the calipers or turn down the snout to affect clearance.
We don’t recommend this. The availability of 14†tires is becoming increasingly
poor and the change to 15†or greater aftermarket wheels is very popular. If you
desire to maintain the original look, find 14†wheels from later Fords like Maverick
or Granada. The 14†Magnum 500 wheels fit with the swap.

since your 15....and you dont drive your car as a daily driver yet im assuming....or drive period...you might want to think about saving for the wheels you really actually want, not just junkyard crap.
it will cost you less in the long run.......and u will have cut to the chase....less nickle and diming on you by your car.....

I have about 600 right now but that is for the engine. I just want junkyard rims for about 20 a piece to get the car back on the ground. After i do the engine then it is time for paint and finally rims. 17" black bullitt rims. [8D]
OH hell no i am not spending a grand on rims. Engine first. Rims dont do **** with reliablity.
I wont be driving for awhile so why spend on looks when i need to get it reliable first. If i spent a grand on rims then i would have to wait awhile for the engine.
