Question about my later model 302 block.

What flywheel do i need? How many teeth. And what about a flexplate?
I know i will need a 50 oz balancer.

I am not real familiar with the EFI 302's with their computer system, oxygen sensors and EGR valves. If you are conveting that EFI engine to a carbureted version here is some reading. http://www.fast351.com/tech/fitocarb.htm

It is just the block so i wont be dealing with any electronics. I could just use a normal 302 mechanical fuel pump right?

If you use a mechanical fuel pump (and thats my advice), you need to mount an excentric wheel on the end of the camshaft to operate the pump. Any 289cid excentric wheel is a direct fit, but you need a longer stud going through the excentric wheel to prevent it from rotating.

i would think you could re-use the one that was on your 289, but i may be wrong.
