Hmm what if i just bought an electric pump?

Be sure to buy a quality brand, it`s xxxx when they brake down in the middle of nowhere. Mechanics "never" fail.

i would think you could re-use the one that was on your 289, but i may be wrong.

I wasn`t able to pry the stud off my old engine. Go to a hardware store and get an expandable 8mm stud (thats metric) should be 0,31496 inch (us/uk), and cut it to the right length

What flywheel do i need? How many teeth. And what about a flexplate?
I know i will need a 50 oz balancer.
Flywheel - manual transmission
Flexplate - automatic transmission

I believe you need 157 teeth in either case.

You also need to conider what starter to use.

If you install an electric pump, be sure to include an inertia shut off switch. If the worst happens you want the fuel pump to stop!
