Default Jacking and jackstands

I have a 68 coupe and would like to know the best way to jack it up and the safest place to put the jackstands. I saw this thread before but I can't seem to find it again when I use the search function. I want to start disconnecting the tranny linkages, drive line, etc. as I'm getting ready for a new motor, so stay tuned guys! I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions soon! THANX

You want to put the jack somewhere on the frame. Just use common sense. Is the weight of the car being on the jack going to bend/bust anything? And the jacks, you want them on the frame behind the tires and in toward the engine a little bit.
