Checked for spark on all the plugs?

 

Not yet. I wouldnt expect the plugs to go this fast since there only 2 weeks old. But I guess you never know. Did I mention its got a baby stutter while cruising too? But what would explain the idle becoming fine for 5 sec then back to stutter every now and then?
I thought that was odd.

 

You may even have some condensation in your gas. Get a can of "Heet" or some other water dispersing liquid and add it to the gas tank.

 

You know it all started happening after i filled up. Put 9 gallons of med. grade. But I have a 2b carb/intake so that shouldnt hurt it....should it?[:@]

Ill try some of the heet stuff.

 

I've been jumping between regular and midgrade myself with a 289 bored + cam and 302 heads without any problems. I've used premium a few times and never noticed any differences.

 

Maybe I just got some bad gas....i dunno....we'll see after the heet.
