summit racing sucks
I have never had a problem with summit, mabey because it takes 2 days to get here ground its like a 3 hour drive to their reno department
but anyways I hear they are very understanding and easy to clear up problems. I think u get a discount off your product if they send you the wrong one.

never had a problem really....just the item was supposed to be here by thursday one week then it took until the next tuesday to actually get here.....im sure thats fed ex's fault though.....what a joke....i could have just as easily drove to nevada when i go to tahoe every weekend for boarding to pick the crap up if i knew it was going to take that long....
Over the years I have spent $10k with both Summit and Jegs. People arent perfect, and mistakes do happen. My thoughts on tools is a simple one, you get what you pay for. I'm not a big fan of Craftsman, but I own them. I dont like the price of Snap On but I still buy them when I can. Things like flare tools need to be high quality, you dont want a double flare failing in a brake system while you are doing 130 mph.
Things I never buy the cheap versions of.
Floor jacks. The money you waste on the $50 ones will equal a good $300 one in a short time, and the good one will work ALOT better. Dont buy a gimmick, get a good shop jack like a Lincoln.
1/2" drive impact wrench. Same thing, buy quality and it will last alot longer and actually be able to break lugnuts and the like loose.
Line wrenches. You dont need to be stripping off all the flare connections on your car, get some good line wrenches and life seems so much easier. Craftsman make about the second crappiest line wrench. I havent found a craftsman line wrench that actually works.
MAC tools were good and inexpensive, as are S-K if you can find them. Blackhawk is what MAC used to be. Also the flare set I have is Blue Point, its like the Snap On cheapie version. High quality but a better price.
If you are going to use it more than once, get something good. Taiwan tools wont cut it in most cases, unless its a one time deal.
