Curious about engine options
I was just wondering about the 427. I've got a cousin who ordered a brand new 67 mustang. He still has the car and claims that he ordered it with a 427. I've seen the car, but have not seen the engine because it's buried by boxes and things in a garage. From what I've read, I can't find anywhere that 67's came with a 427. It has 390 emblems on it right now, but he says he put them on it when he bought it to fool others when he raced. Just curious if this every really was an option in 67.
i think hes full of sh*t.....?
it may very well have that engine in there but im almost positive it wasnt stock.........390 as big as it got until 69 i think....?

Well, thats what I though too. The 427 didn't get in mustangs till 68. I don't think he has any reason to lie, but I just don't really believe him. I'm gonna get him to show it to me someday.
