i see a T-10 transmission for sale right near where i live....the guy wants like 200 obo......i just want a manual tranny and 4 speed is definitely enough but isnt it differnt than a regular toploader? would this transmission work and is it hard to find parts to make it work with my 302???

I have a 1968 coupe with 302....its got a C4 right now....it has an 8 inch rear end with 2.79 gears i believe.....

 

Beware of the bolt pattern and the shifter location. If the shifter bolts to the front of the tail chaft the trans will not work. Wher the trans bolts to the bell housing it needs the one with ears. If is the one with the narrow or early pattern it will not work. that one looks square in the front.
