Hi, I'm trying to disassemble a shifter stalk with the reverse-lockout crossbar assembly from a T-10 gearbox down to individual parts to get them re-chromed separately.
I've been having a little trouble trying to figure out how to remove the sliding reverse lockout portion from the rest of the stalk. it almost looks as if I should be lifting the reverse crossbar somewhat and push it out sideways, but it doesn't seem to be getting me anywhere.

Can anybody help me or give me some insight as to how i might get this thing further apart? Thanks!
