C6's came behind Clevelands and some 351W's, look in Rancheros and Torinos. After 74 the 351M that most people seem to mistake for a Cleveland, had the 460 size pattern so they wont work. I have three of them but they are destined for vehicles.

The C6 takes up the most power of Ford transmissions. AOD's can be built to handle 1000 hp, so that is an alternative that lets you have overdrive. E transmissions like the E4OD and AODE need a computer to operate correctly.

The C4 can be built to take it, but you could just as well have an overdrive for the same money.
