Default Fuel Tank Install

Hello everyone. I recently bought a new fuel tank kit. It came with everything including the sending unit to install. However it did not come with instructions on how to install the sending unit? Is there a certain way it goes in or can it only go in one way?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There should only be one way it can go in, if not then just put it in so that the pickup is lowest in the tank.

Hey thanks guys. Got the new tank in this past weekend. All hooked up and running. However for some reason it will idle fine but as soon as the choke opens it dies. I know very little about engine work and know nothing about carbs...lol

Anything anyone might suggest?

Try turning the black choke cap a little at a time and see if this changes it. I would also recommend changing the fuel filter out too.
