what kind of tranny should i get with a 351 and a posi. rear end?

A manual transmission would be tons of fun with that combo. Of course you have to figure in all the burn out tickets you will be getting

yep, i just got myself a T-5. mine i think should be a .68 5th gear...can't wait to get it installed and finally start her up for the first time...since the rebuild at least...

EDIT* if you plan on making that 351W a torque monster or more than like 350HP-400HP, think about the TKO trannies, or a T-56 6-speed. lol, im thinking about putting a nice little 3-speed ball on my T-5 to fool the ricers at school.MUHAHAHA

haha yeah im with billybobjoe go with the t5 like us and put a 3speed ball on, its funny when people get in your car and you hit 4th gear they start freaking out!

I like automatics, if you do too, then an AOD for the overdrive, or a C4 for cruisin. C6 if you plan to beat on it with alot of power, but good luck finding a case for a small block C6.
