Should i have a granada distribution block? I do have a proportioning valve. Right now i need to get the MC in and the lines hooked up right.

 

No, just use the distribution block you already have.

 

If you are going from drum-drum to disc-drum you need a proportioning valve not a distro block. Finding a good Granada one might be a trick. The one I tried to use was seized up and ended up going with and after market one from master power brakes. (mpbrakes.com)

Use your stock DB and the prop valve that came with the kit.

 

Ok lets be clear about that we are talking about. If you have a stock mustang distro black you can use that with an adjustabe proportioning valve. If want to use the granada style proportioning valve then you do not need the distro block or the adjustable proportioning valve.

 

Okay, i do have the proportioning valve. It is just that the MC threads for the lines and proportioning valve inlets are different sizes. The mc is a little bit bigger.

I walked into autozone and asked for such an adapter and they said that it did not exist. I was pretty sure something like that did. what size are the inlets on my granada MC?

 

You guys really need to get out of the habit of using those crappy parts stores. I know they have their pupose but if you need something like a brake line adapter you need to go to a place like Carquest, Worldwide or god forbid NAPA. You may have to get the correct size fitting, cut the line, remove the old fitting, install the new fitting and then reflare the line.
