Default driveshaft help quick!

so im installing a t5 in my 65 that originally had a c4. now im having a little confusion on how much my driveshaft needs to be shortened. i purchased the transimission from modern driveline and was told that it needed to be shortened about 3/4 of an inch. i need to make sure that that is absolutley correct because im about to leave for the shop and would definetly not want to have the wrong measurement.

also, i am having new u joints put on but what about the slip yoke? should it be ok or should i hve it replaced??

Call the place that is going to mod you driveshaft. They will tell you where they want you to measure. Sould be from the end of the tailshaft to the inside of the u-joint. They will make it the correct length.

Have them look at the slip yoke and u-joints, they will tell you what needs replaced.
