Default New engine in a weekend

Well it was thursday night and i decided to change the plugs in my car. It had champions in it and it was starting to miss as you would suspect. Anyways i ended up takin the breather off because the firing order was off and it was starting to backfire out through the carb. When i took it off though the nut fell into the carb and i didnt know it. I found the firing order and got it started. By the end of the night i had anitfrezze coming out of the tail pipe. I thought it might just be a blown head gasket. Me and my buddy took off the whole top end on saturday afternoon and found 2 good headgaskets. WTF?! Then however we noticed the one cylinder had a beatup piston and we rotated the engine and found 2 nice big crackes down the side of the number 7 cylinder. So we went for a drive to my buddys house who is a mustang FREAK! (currently restoring a 71 BOSS 351) Anyways to my surprise he had mostly 289s and 302s when i looked over and saw a 351W sitting in the corner. I said ill taker. He said that the guy who had the car that that engine was in was driving the car and decided to do the rest of the car aswell, got in over his head and my buddy came to the rescue with the checkbook. So i figured it would be ok as it has only been sitting for 2 winters. It turned out to be a 2 barrel 351W out of a 71 galaxie. Any ways today i managed to take my motor out, paint my engine bay, take the tranny off the other one, clean all the old grease off, and paint it. I should haver in tomorrow or the next day. I also still have my 4 barrel carb and intake off the 302 and plan on finding a nice aluminum 351 windsor intake for it and throwin the 4 barrel on it. Even though that 351 was rated at 177HP from the factory, that was when it was being rated as net horsepower, not gross. It was also rated at 355 lbs/ft of torque! I should be pullin stumps by wednesday. Not too bad for a weekends work though.

Yep, you have been a busy guy. Beats the heck out of watching re-runs on TV though, huh?
