Default Instrument Bezel question

I want to replace my bezel and guages with the GT/66 guages with the Tach option. 6 guages in all with a new wiring harness. The only question I have is will the bezel fit in with my original dash. I originally have the needle left/right style speedo with the idiot lights. If any body has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate them. thanks.

The tach option? U mean the mini tach that fits where the clock is supposed to be?

In a 65/66, the only way to get a tach was the ralle pac option which was a tach/clock option that bolted onto the steering column, I believe. The six gauge cluster is a newly designed restomod option. You can get it in factory colored finish which looks really nice. I have a JME gauge cluster with the tach and Auto Meter gauges and I am WELL pleased with it. There are also a few that are priced a little cheaper that look great as well. God luck finding what you want.

The dash should fit right in.. The only thing to check is the sensors cause I'm not sure they are the same.

You could go with one of these..

Actually I want that type of bezel but with regular guages not digital. Did the digital one come as a complete assembly? What did you get with it? I'm just thinking that if it comes bezel and guages, that I might just get that and get it over with. Thanks

It came with everything you need including the sensors... All you had to do was wire it up.. Its a bit over the top money wise but, its real nice. It also has qtr miles times, RPM limiter, fastest MPH, Avg MPH and a bunch of other stuff.. $495....

Yes! It will work in your 65 Remember that the 65 GT's used that style bezel. You'll need to do all the harnesses under the hood also.

My car is not actually a GT. It was dressed up on the exterior like a GT but not the interior. I would like to just finish the job. Would like to add the six gauges including the tach and realize that will require me re-wiring the under-dash and engine compartment. Hopefully I can pull it off with about $1000. That's my ideal situation. Thanks guys. I think I got all I need.
